City of Kalama’s Third Annual Kalama Blues Festival coming to Port of Kalama’s Marine Park on Saturday, August 2, 2014

While Marine Park will be closed August 2nd for the Blues Festival, Louis Rasmussen Day Use Park, marina and boat ramp will be open to the public 

Kalama, WA (July 29, 2014)—The Port of Kalama hosts the City of Kalama’s Third Annual Kalama Blues Festival this Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Marine Park on the Columbia River. While Marine Park will be closed that day for the Blues Festival, Louis Rasmussen Day Use Park will be open to the public for recreational activities.

To avoid event traffic, Port visitors using the marina and boat launch are encouraged to take I-5 Exit 30 to access those recreational areas. Event organizers will be directing festival traffic to avoid any area congestion.

The festival, which runs from noon to 9 p.m., requires an admission of $8 and 2 cans of food.  The musical line-up and additional event details are available at http://www.cityofkalama.com/visitors/events/kalama-blues-festival.
